Coach Mirich began working as the Strength and Conditioning Coach with the Sheridan College Men’s Basketball team in the spring of 2018, and the Women’s Soccer and Volleyball teams at the beginning of the 2018-2019 seasons.
Coach Mirich graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology. Mirich competed as a decathlete for UW Track and Field, scoring for the Cowboys at the Mountain West Championships in both the decathlon and high jump during his two years there. Prior to UW, Mirich attended Dickinson State University in Dickinson, ND. At DSU Mirich was a two year starter for the football team at wide receiver, and competed as a decathlete for the DSU track team, earning second team All-American status as a sophomore, and representing DSU at the NAIA National Championships.
Coach Mirich prepped at Big Horn High School in Big Horn, WY. During his career he was named All-State in football, basketball and four events in track, played in four state championships, winning one in basketball in 2011, and was an individual event state champion in track. After graduation he played in the 2011 Shrine Bowl football game, and the WCA North-South All-Star Basketball Game.
