Heyer averaged 21 points, 12 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals while shooting 68% from the field as a senior. Heyer is a 2-time All-State selection, and a 2-time All-Conference selection. Heyer finished his career at Worland High School with 1339 points and 860 rebounds. Heyer also participated in Track and field and was a highly touted football player in the state of Wyoming.
