Sheridan –
The Lady Generals continue to rack in awards on a season to
remember. The Women’s basketball team finished the year with 27 wins
and only five losses and was ranked as high as No. 16 in the
National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) poll. They
also won the Wyoming Conference recording seven wins and only one
loss, the Region IX Northern Sub-Region winning five games and only
one loss and the Wyoming Pre-Season Conference Tournament.
The Lady Generals team continues to rake in
awards as Frank McCarthy, the Lady Generals head coach was named
Wyoming Conference Coach of the year. Freshmen Tonishea Mack and
Tahnee Robinson were named Co-Players of the year for the Wyoming
Conference. Sophomore Lyndie NeVille was named Second Team
All-Conference and Freshman Randa Clabaugh was named to the Wyoming
Conference All-Defensive Team.
The
Lady Generals also went 12-0 on the year in the Bruce Hoffman Golden
