Sheridan – The Sheridan College Generals started off the season in grand fashion winning three games in the Coca-Cola Teton Tip-Off Classic in Williston, North Dakota. In the first game of the season the Generals (3-0) defeated a feisty Salish Kootenai squad 116-92. On the next night the Generals beat the host team Williston State College 93-81 and on the final night of the classic Sheridan College got the best of defending Region XIII Champion Lake Region State College in double overtime 102-100.

Against Salish Kootenai the Generals were led in scoring by freshman guard Tom Parks with 29 points as Parks shot 6-10 from behind the 3-point arc. Sophomore Kenny Daniels got into the act also going 4-4 from 3-point land, while adding 21 points and collecting seven rebounds. Freshman Dennis Williamson showed why he was such a highly recruited post coming out of Minneapolis scoring 19 points and pulling down eight rebounds. Sophomore Antoine Watson scored 15 points coming off the bench and Moustapha Diarra also added 12 points coming off the bench shooting 6-6 from the floor..

Against Williston State the Generals were led in scoring by Daniels who poured in 22 points and grabbed five rebounds. Parks scored 18 points and connected on three 3-pointers. Watson scored 16 points and pulled down five rebounds. Diarra scored 13 points while pulling down eight rebounds. Williamson finished out the double figure scoring by adding 10 points and blocking two shots.

In a classic battle of two teams that did not want to give in Sheridan was able to pull out the win against Lake Region State College 102-100 in double overtime. Leading the Generals was Parks, who recorded a double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds. Williamson also added a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds and sophomore guard Cedric Koffi also added 14 points and collected three steals. Daniels was in double figures again as he scored 12 points and freshman guard Josh Littlejohn scored 11 points while playing over 41 minuets.

The Generals will be in action again on Monday, November 12 as they travel to Billings to face Rocky Mountain.
