After starting the season with five consecutive road games, the Generals returned home to the Bruce Hoffman Golden Dome for five straight contests...winning all five! The Generals started Thanksgiving week by hosting a 7-1 Lake Region State College team on Wednesday, November 22nd. After jumping out to a 47-25 halftime lead, the Generals put the Royals away in the 2nd half, finishing with a 90-62 win. Led by Camron Reece's 21 points and 14 rebounds, the Generals moved to 7-1.
Over the weekend, Sheridan College hosted the 43rd annual Lions Club Classic, taking on Rocky Mountain College JV and the Williston State Tetons. On Friday night, the Generals got off to a slow start, but were able to beat Rocky Mountain 92-73 behind 25 points from freshman Sean Sutherlin. In the second game of the weekend, Sheridan College jumped out to a 44-33 halftime lead over Williston State. The second half was more of the same, outscoring the Tetons 39-28, and finishing with a 83-61 win. Channel Banks showed why he's one of the toughest guards in the region, scoring 26 points for the Generals. Camron Reece provided yet another double-double, posting 15 points and 10 rebounds.
The Generals, now 9-1 on the season, are back on the road this upcoming week, traveling to Powell, Wyoming to take part in the Big Horn Federal Shootout.
