The freshmen duo of Camron Reece and AJ Bramah put on a show for a large Sheridan College crowd last night, combining for 44 points and 17 rebounds in the Generals win over Miles Community College. The two forwards got the crowd into the game early with multiple dunks in the first half, as well as a couple three pointers from sophomores Channel Banks and Ladan Ricketts. After taking a 47-27 lead into halftime, the Generals came out and extended their lead to 38 points at the 4:21 mark of the 2nd half. With every General scoring at least one field goal in the game, Sheridan College improved their overall record to 16-2, and their conference record to 2-1 by defeating the Pioneers 102-70.
Camron Reece led the way with 23 points, going 11-13 from the field, and also pulling down 8 rebounds. AJ Bramah was one rebound away from yet another double-double, scoring 21 points and grabbing 9 rebounds. Bramah also had a great night finding open teammates as he dished out 5 assists. Channel Banks and Sean Sutherlin helped the Generals with 16 and 13 points respectively. Banks and freshman Josh Bagley each dished out 8 assists in the victory.
Next up for the Generals will be home matchup with Little Big Horn College on Saturday night at 5 PM.
