The 2018-19 Sheridan College men's basketball schedule has been released, and can be found at this link; http://www.scgenerals.com/sports/mbkb/2018-19/schedule
The men's basketball program is coming off one of their more successful seasons in recent memory, finishing last year with a 28-5 record and capturing the Region IX North regular season championship. With six sophomores returning from last year's group, including two all-region performers in AJ Bramah and Camron Reece, the Generals will look to compete with the top teams in Region IX once again. The Generals will imediately be challenged as they start the season off by hosting last season's Region IX South champion, Otero Junior College. OJC is coming off a historic season in their own right, finishing 29-4 and making an appearance in the NJCAA National Tournament in Hutchinson, KS. Later during the non-conference schedule, the Generals will visit Williston, ND where they will take on the defending Region IX tournament champs, Western Nebraska Community College. Western Nebraska ended Sheridan College's season a year ago, and the matchup on a neutral court should be a great game!
There will be some new faces in Region IX North this year, as Miles Community College and Little Big Horn College have moved to Region 13, and Laramie County Community College and Eastern Wyoming College have both moved into the North sub-region. The Generals open up league-play on the road on January 9th when they travel to Torrington to face Eastern Wyoming.
