The Sheridan College Generals picked up two wins this week to move to 27-1 on the season, and 12-0 in Region IX North play. The first win came over at NWCCD rival, Gillette College, which also made it a season-sweep of the Pronghorns. In a game where there were 87 free throws attempted between both squads, the Generals were able to overcome foul trouble and pick up the 104-96 win over Gillette College. For the first time under Coach Matt Hammer, the Generals had three different players score over 25 points in the same game. AJ Bramah led the way scoring 26 points, grabbing 12 rebounds and dishing out 5 assists. Joshua Bagley and Ja'Vary Christmas both stepped up huge in the road win, contributing 25 points each.
The second win of the week came inside the Bruce Hoffman Golden Dome on Sophomore Night, as the Generals knocked off Central Wyoming College 93-78. Again, sophomore AJ Bramah stepped up big as he led the way with 21 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Fellow sophomore Sean Sutherlin continued his productive ways as he finished 8-11 from the floor, scoring 19 points. After the Generals went 0-12 from three point range in the first half, Adham Eleeda connected on 4 treys in the 2nd half and finished with 14 points for the Generals. Cody Baumstarck provided a huge spark off the bench, stepping in and scoring 11 points while also grabbing 6 rebounds.
The #6 ranked Generals are on the road for their final 2 games of the season, traveling to Northwest College on Wednesday and Casper College on Saturday.
