Generals not satisfied... host Region IX Quarterfinals Saturday
Oct 18, 2017

The Generals will be hosting Otero Junior College from La Junta, Colorado this Saturday October 21st at 1pm on Maier Field. Otero comes in with a division record of four wins and four losses. The general?s division record is four wins, two losses and two ties. Both of these programs will both be looking to book their ticket to Denver for the conference Semifinal game and the chance to be crowned Region IX champions. But before either team can think about traveling to Denver, they must first get a win Saturday. These programs have not met this season but have met in the seasons past. History hasn?t always been on the general?s side but this team is determined to compete for a Region IX Title.

The Generals will be at full strength with Easton Hartman serving his suspension last game and Francisco ?Frank? Pacheco returning from injury. Otero will have to travel to Sheridan where the Generals have built a fortress this season going undefeated at home and outscoring opponents 7-3 over four games. The Generals led by Easton Hartman, Chase Johnson, Brad Whiles, Jose Guerrero, and Nicolas Parris will be looking to add another result at home and make their mark on the history of this program. How far can this team go? That is still to be determined but with the hunger, fight and willingness to work as a family, this General?s team is peaking at the right time heading into playoffs. Come support us Saturday October 21st at 1pm on Maier Field and cheer your Generals into the history books yet again, as they build something special here at Sheridan College.
