Coach Mark Wozniak “Woz” has over 25 years of soccer playing experience, and his love for soccer continues to grow. He helped pioneer a soccer program for his high school where he led the team as captain. He then played on scholarship at Lee University (NAIA) and at Colorado Christian University (NCAA D.II) where he was captain during his senior year. After college, Mark went on to play professionally in Austria as a defender. While there he led multiple soccer camps and youth outreaches in Austria, Kosovo, and Germany.

Upon returning to the US Mark began coaching at Southern Soccer Academy, one of the top soccer clubs in the Southeast. From 2012-2017 Mark coached several age groups at Southern Soccer Academy with several players continuing their careers at the college level on scholarship. Woz currently holds a USSF “National D” license, and is a certified Life Coach. He and his wife are also co-owners for Mighty Kicks, a national soccer franchise bringing the beautiful game of soccer to 3, 4 and 5 year olds impacting over 250 kids in South Atlanta.

Mark looks forward to bringing his coaching and playing expertise to Sheridan College to help Coach Starr bring excellence both on and off the field and build a program that will compete for championships.

Mark and his wife Sharee have three girls, Chloe, Sophie and Emily who reside in Newnan, GA.
