The Generals will look to rise up to the level of their competition as they head into conference play this weekend. The Generals went 6-10 in preseason play and would like to see more consistency out of their roster. The past weekend showed a lot of heart, competitive drive and effort as the Generals went to 5 sets 3 out of the 4 matches they faced in Sterling, CO. Injuries and absents haven't helped the Generals in solidifying their starters but it has helped the freshman class step into some important roles and gain experience early. "We will have to limit our errors and be more aggressive at the net if we want to compete in our conference. Our conference is I believe tougher than it was last year and if we want to finish in the top half we will have to raise our level of play on our side of the net." Said Head Coach Jennifer Stadler. The Generals begin conference play at home and will host LCCC on Friday night 9/22 at 7:00 pm and EWC Saturday afternoon 9/23 at 3:00pm.
