On July 12th, 2006 Sheridan College student and athlete Linsday Heimkes was involved in a one car rollover accident on Interstate-90, 20 miles south of Buffalo, WY that left her with a severed spinal cord and unable to move. Lindsay was rushed to a hospital in Casper where she underwent surgery to repair her spinal cord. She has spent the last several months at a rehabilitation center in Colorado, where she has regained some movement and feeling in her left arm and right shoulder. Lindsay faces a long road to recovery, but is ready and willing to keep up the fight.
